The sea kayaking is one of the fantastic sports they instruct. They found a old seal
skin boat when they stopped at the "Hakodate City Museum of Nothern Peaples"

They said .....We have rarely seen
such a old conserved seal skin boat.
Even our town doesn't have it !
We surprised to find it at Hakodate,
and felt the cultural exchange on the
Northern Pacific Ocean.
Their trip took a detour through the sky,
fly to Hakodate via Seattle- Hawaii
- Narita- Haneda. Once upon a time,
former inhabitants had been exchange
at the Chishima archipelago, may be
Hokkaido was nearby in their spirit.
........it's a happy imagination.

We have enjoyed our stay at Hakodate-Mura very much ! It is wonderful location for
easy to see the historical site of Hakodate. Our guide book recommended it, and
we second this ! Wonderful food and clean and comfortable acommodations.

We were lucky enough to stumble across B and B Pension Hakodate-mura.
Lovely english speaking hosts, who ensured our brief stay in Hakodate was most
memorable. We have to come back and stay again. Next time for much longer.

Do you have a room ?.......an icy afternoon, .they visited here suddenly.
How did you know about us ? Just lucky to find "B and B" signboard on the car.
When we traveled to Australia and New Zealand, easy to found "B and B"everywhere,
but B and B style inn are unusual style in Japan. Please take care of slipping road.
They said.......We have snowing in my town that's accustomed to driving, thank you.

Lovely smile and heart lady enjoy to stay snow world at Hakodate, Hokkaido. He always
nestle to her with gentle smile .Curiosity is the beginning of knowledge........it become
her to active. They live in near Perth. She want to come to Hokkaido in winter and see
the Snow Festival at Sapporo.......so lomg time. Her dream has come true this time !
They go to Sapporo just now ! They will enjoy the Snow Festival together. And then
She stay several days at Sapporo to enjoy sightseeing and others, he go alone to Niseko,
Frano to enjoy skying. Have a nice trip in snow world ! Thank you for your stay !

Location/ Local Attractions:
It was easy to find your pension, thanks to the directionson your website.
We spent the day walking around Motomachi and the Harbourside.....in the snow !
Your pension was so convenient for sight-seeing !
Staff:
The staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient - not only with information
about the area, but also explaining current affairs ( Sumo and politics and the
Imperial Family ! ).
Character:
The atmosphere of the pension is delightful-bright, airy, warm and welcoming.
We appreciated the internet, music, and magazines in the lounge, and the care
with which it has been decorated. The room was quiet, spacious and very comfortable.
We enjoyed the dokudami (herb) bath very much, and the breakfasts were filling and
delicious. We felt very much at home.....thank you !!
Yes, we would definitely recommend your pension to our friends !

Pretty 3 ladies came from Sweden to enjoy playing snow- boad, sky and
sightseeing during 5 weeks. They went down from Niseko after enjoy powder snow,
and stay with us 2 nights in Hakodate. Of cource......we kept their big luggages in our
office.......Hey ! Let's go for a walk in Hakodate !

We said her......your emerald green cap looks very fit on you ! He said.......her cap is easy to
find in the crowd and from a distance......yes, good ! so cute ! They are starting for Niseko.

Location/ Local Attractions:
The location of the hostel is very good and central . During our stay in Hakodate
we went to the fish market, shopping in vintage stores and took the ropeway up to
the view point of the mountain.
Staff:
The hostel is very nice and clean. The staff is very nice, helpful and professtional.
The breakfast was a nice surorise-very fresh !!
Character:
The hostel feel like a good mix of Japanese and Westurn-style. Simple in a good way.
The hostel felt secure. The staff care of our ski-bags in the reception which was
nice ! Top Grade !

They leave Hakodate for Furano and Asahi-Dake mountain to enjoy powder snow.
Our new staf f?? Puppy of boxer he's 5th and a half month see off them.
They divided their big luggages among them. One of the ladies take a taxi to
carry three big baggages and backpacks to the Hakodate Station. And others
carry their ski-bags by walk. Have a nice trip ! and thank you for your stay !!

She came from Austraiia, leave in the middle of her long travels alone around the world.
She stayed Hakodate-mura 2 nights......washing and checking her e-mail, photographs,
arrangement of the travels and sometimes go for a walk with a holiday atmosphere.
She was traveling........Nepal....India....China....and Japan. By the way she didn't have
any schedule to the next country. Have a nice trip in Japan !
